North Korean Souvenirs

Kim Jong Il - the Mighty Leader

So, you made it to North Korea and had a wonderful time there. What will you bring home as a souvenir? Here are a few choices you may be able to pick up from the Korea International Tourist Service Souvenir Shop in Pyongyang:

Korea International Tourist Service (KITS) has opened a new souvenir shop opposite the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, although it’s full of what KITS think foreigners want: twee souvenirs and traditional handicrafts that are unlikely to appeal to most. Here goes:

A commemorative stamp of the Great Leader, or perhaps

a funky bust of the Great Leader.

Perhaps you would prefer

a Kim Jong Il teapot? No?

Well, this one you will certainly not be able to resist

a Royal Wedding commemorative stamp!
